Good book. The first one was shipped with another purchase, and it got beat up in shipping. I called Amazon and told them about it and the shipped me out another one and paid the shipping to send the battered one back. I love it and the book looks great on my coffee table. I love going through it and it will take me forever to read it!
I was hoping to see more of the beautiful color of Colorado, and this book simply does not offer that. It is amazing the see the changes that occur in 100 years, but overall the book was a huge disappointment for me. I grew up in Colorado, near Durango. I guess I was looking for the Colorado I know, but its not in this book. Get a used copy. Cheaper.
Bought used and while described imperfections, minimized the flaws. Furthermore, took me an hour to cut through the tape the book arrived in. I doubt this review will reach the review page, makes me feel good just to type it out.
Wonderful book. Pictures are extraordinary. Great work. Got this as a gift for a Colorado-loving friend, he was overwhelmed. Definitely pricey but worth it!
