Heads up! You really need to buy two! Older albums of this type I have bought for cents and nickels had slots for the P,D, and S mints. These do not have enough spaces for both the P and D mint. You will need two albums. One for P and one for D.
Found one of these years ago, loved it. But when I needed another, I looked everywhere, no luck (should have looked Amazon first).This has plastic sheets that slide in the front and rear of the quarters to keep them from falling out. Nice hard cover. Love them
The album looks good and holds the coins tight. I like they have various albums for various coins in the same format that looks good on your personal library or display. Also, the deep sea-blue (may be just a little too dark) provides nice contrast with the shiny coins.I like they provided more transparent sleeves than necessary, so if you remove or scratch them, you have replacement.You can later buy additional pages and even adhesive letters and numbers and add them to your current album by simply removing two screws.All in all, the album looks solid and elegant in the same time.
This is a TERRIFIC product for the casual collector, for anyone who simply wants to assemble good specimens of lightly circulated state quarters and admire them in a handy format. Only one spot per state is provided, which is exactly what I wanted, since I don't care about the mint marks and don't want to collect one of each. The plastic inserts are extremely handy and easy to use. I am putting the coins in "backwards", with the unique reverse of each coin face up over the name of the state, leaving the obverse (front) -- the George Washington profile -- upside down on the back of each sheet. Inspired by this terrific product, I have also ordered the "Presidential Dollars 2007 Album", ISBN-10 0794821839, available on Amazon and produced by Whitman. Happy collecting!
Beautiful. Bought this as a gift for a new collector. Nice design. You can see the coins from both sides and the book has a nice hard cover.
Whitman has a whole series of these folders. I've never heard of them before, but they are awesome! A plastic insert goes on either side of the coins so you may see the front AND the back. This folder makes for a very nice assertive presentation of your coin collection that will look nice on your book shelf.If you do not find this review helpful, please comment as to why. Thank you!
Wrong book. Did not have the column for "S" as we had specifically asked if it did and was told it did include it. Gone on vacation right now.Will probably return it when we get back.
