Another in my granddaughter's favorite series, "If You Give a Mouse ..." The illustrations are colorful and catch the attention of youngsters. The text is simple, and it helps little ones learn to recognize words. My 3-year-old grandchild has it memorized, so she "reads" to me whenever I visit. I look forward to more about this frisky little rodent.
My previous reviews tell what I think of this series by Laura Numeroff. They're great for kids, and moms will enjoy reading them as it will remind them how they feel as a parent. The very best one was the first one - If you give a mouse a cookie. This may be my second favorite.
This addition to the Mouse books is absolutely hilarious. I found myself laughing out-loud, and I am 70! I purchased this for a newborn who has a big brother and I know they will both enjoy it very much. Just as I thought the Mouse would not dare ask for anything more, he did and then even more and more. This book is guaranteed to make readers of all ages giggle and gasp and laugh.
Another great book by Laura Numberoff. It is written in the style of her other "If you give......" books but this one was perfect for a family situation. I purchased this for my kindergarten grandson's birthday. He was "busted" for eating a fellow student's brownie off the other child's lunch tray. He received the book with a box of brownies!
My kids love these books. All of them are repetitive but they are easy for beginning readers and a fun read for kids.
This is a fun addition to the series of several other books titled If you Give a Mouse a ......I gave the book to a friend so she could read it to her Grandson. I also included a box of brownie mix to help make the first reading a special one.
I purchased a number of books as gifts for my great grandchildren and of course read each of them. This is just a fun book that will tickle the little four year old I purchased it for among others.
Amazing read. Students in TK have really enjoyed it.
