Love this the analogies and how the bring understanding to the content being learned. Using it on a tablet is AWESOME for studying because you can simply touch and highlight all key points for quick study reference which saves A TON of the time normally spent writing notes or flash cards. A nurse saw me watching YouTube videos and taking notes while in the hospital with my son who was getting a minor procedure and recommended this book. I'm saving SOOO much from the time it was taking to write notes.
I taught Allied Health and I've taken many AP courses. I truly wish I could've taken a live course with this instructor. If the way he writes is any indication of his abilities as an instructor, there must've been a waiting list for his class.If you need in depth micro photos, this may not be your book. If you want to understand a concept, this definitely is your text.
Bruce Forciea is an excellent instructor. I actually had him for anatomy and advanced anatomy and physiology. This book is a lot of what we learned in the class and it can be used as a quick reference. Great for nursing students and new nurses for quick reference.
This is an easy to read guide to the big picture of anatomy. It allows you to grasp how all things work together so the little details have context. There is just enough humor to keep the reading enjoyable.I expect to be returning to this often.

As a nursing student who has had two semesters of study with the author, I fully endorse this product. He has a way of bringing the content of anatomy and physiology to a simple, yet complete level of understanding. The bonus is he adds a bit of cheesy humor as well which makes the learning process a whole lot more enjoyable, and quite honestly-relatable!
This book really takes what is important to Anatomy & Physiology students and breaks it down in a way that simplifies the learning process. As a former student of the author, I was amazed at how well I learned this subject matter with this material - especially the difficult physiology aspect. I have the kindle version of this book on my phone and have already used it many times in my Advanced EMT transition class that I am currently taking. It is a great reference to have at my fingertips and I highly recommend this book.
I love this book. It was just like having my professor speaking and saying exactly in the same details what A&P is about.
